Jerry replaced the frets and leveled and polished them on my relic strat. The intonation and playability are great. It feels like one of the easiest guitars that I've ever played. This is one luthier (guitar repairman) who knows what he is doing.

I brought my beloved strat to Jerry for new frets. WOW, should have done that a long time ago! I went with the stainless steel "big-uns". I just wanted the response back. The bonus was way easier vibrato and bending notes way easier sparing that post gig tindinidous us older guys surcome to. I couldn't be happier. I paid the same for an entire fret job that a buddy of mine paid to replace just 6 frets at some "other" store. Also, I got my guitar back in less than a week. Wish I could get this kind of value and service more often with my hard earned money.

I brought my $300 Jackson I have been playing in a metal band for years. I had Jerry install a dimebucker with an accomplice "59 model Seymore Duncan, along with a full setup. I can't believe the difference in the overall feel of the guitar! I never would've thought a $300 dollar guitar could play like a $1500 guitar!! It feels completely different, so easy to play now. Can't wait to test drive her at some shows. Great job Jerry. Nick Lehman With Smoke They Gave Their Offering

Well, I'm usually disappointed or only moderately satisfied with most services I have performed, but I can honestly say I'm blown away with the stainless frets that Jerry installed on my Collings D2H. First of all, he was the first shop I called that wanted to do the work. I brought it in that same day and he was done within a week. The results are no less than phenomenal. Don't listen to what the nay-sayers have to say about stainless frets sounding too bright or brittle. It's not true. My Collings has never sounded better and the frets feel like silk. I can't wait to see how long they last. I really could go on and on, but I won't. I could barely put my guitar down long enough to post these comments! Thank you, Jerry.

I brought my 70's Vintage les paul deluxe to jerry recently. It needed new frets, a nut made and the tune-o-matic was loose, jerry put on ss frets, added adjustment screws to the tune-o-matic, and installed a nut. as soon as I got the guitar I couldn't believe the difference! He not only did the repairs that i wanted done.. he also filled in some spaces around the inlays that badly needed it even though I hadn't even pointed them out. If i need any more guitar work done I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Jerry!

I became very frustrated with my 71 Martin,I could'nt keep it tuned and it was getting harder to play by the day. I called the Martin manufacturer and they were booked and they gave me Gerry's number. I had him to look it over and he recommended a new fret job,boy was I shocked at how nice it played and sounded.Gerry put stainless frets on and tweeked the action a bit and I think it plays and sounds better than it ever has, thanks a bunch.

After Gerry repaired my guitar I found it plays like a dream. He has made this Eastman USA original better than new. Gerry made repairs to the back of the guitar. There was a serious split in the back of the guitar along the seam. After this repair, Gerry went after the neck, frets, and he made adjustments. He refreshed the frets, replaced the nut, and made changes that make the guitar play like it never has even better than new. Before he did this I was certain the guitar was headed for eBay, and I was sure that it would have to go. I’ll probably never want to sell it now! Thanks so much Gerry! Paul E Martin

My '67 Harmony hollowbody bass had a broken truss rod, a bowed neck, and the action was so high I played it with a slide. Gerry replaced the truss rod, the nut, and the entire fretboard and now it plays like a dream and looks better than when I bought it.
Someone I know took one look at the results and said, "He's a sorcerer!" The action's so low you can just about slip a piece of paper between the frets and strings but every note rings true with no buzz. It's beautiful work. Mr Reno saved my guitar. Thanks, Gerry!

instead of sending my 98 mcinturff polaris pro across country to the manufacturer, i decided to give jerry a try and i only had to wait 4 days, one was a holiday. the job was very well done, i should have done stainless a long time ago. i think i will have him build me a neck for a guitar i have and have him do a refret on my 69 les paul, as time goes on. very glad i found his service. got the guitar back and played it live that night. it sounds and feels great.! j

Jerry recently refretted my Taylor. I use this one for performing. It's played every day. I didn't know what I was missing till I had Jerry put the stainless steel frets on the guitar. I couldn't be happier with his work. My peers all want to play my guitar now.
I also farm guitar repairs out to Jerry. He has done some amazing repairs for us.
